In East Africa, there are several languages and cultures from the different tribes that will interest you. However, aside foreign languages, the most commonly language shared across East Africa is Swahili. Here you go! Note the one commonly used, and which I guess many already know; ‘Jambo’, in East African Swahili, is simply ‘Hi’. In East Africa, it is always accompanied by a warm welcoming smile! The word ‘safari’ is Swahili for “journey”.
